A Bar Program Built for People Who Actually Drink
Plenty of places in downtown Greer serve a beer with dinner. The Mason Jar built the bar first and the kitchen around it. That means a whiskey and spirit list deep enough to keep a bourbon collector occupied for an hour, a rotating single-barrel shelf, and a bartender who can talk you through it, not just pour it.
Happy hour runs Monday through Friday, 4 to 7 PM: $2.50 domestic beer, $3.50 wine, $3.50 well drinks, $4 Jager and Fireball shots. It's the kind of after-work stop that turns into a whole evening more often than not.
Weeknights bring their own reason to show up: Wing Night on Monday, Tacos and Tequila on Tuesday, Burger and Beer Wednesday. By the time Thursday's Ladies Night rolls around, you've already got a regular's seat at the bar.
Friday and Saturday, the bar carries the room: karaoke starts at 9 PM and runs until last call at midnight. The kitchen closes at 10 PM, so grab food early and let the bar carry you the rest of the night.
