A Bar Program Built for People Who Actually Drink

Plenty of places in downtown Greer serve a beer with dinner. The Mason Jar built the bar first and the kitchen around it. That means a whiskey and spirit list deep enough to keep a bourbon collector occupied for an hour, a rotating single-barrel shelf, and a bartender who can talk you through it, not just pour it.

Happy hour runs Monday through Friday, 4 to 7 PM: $2.75 domestic beer, $3.50 wine, $3.50 well drinks, $4 Jager and Fireball shots. It's the kind of after-work stop that turns into a whole evening more often than not.

Weeknights bring their own reason to show up: half price bone in wings and Music Bingo on Monday, Tacos and Tequila on Tuesday, half price wine and live music on Wednesday. By the time Thursday's DJ Trivia rolls around, you've already got a regular's seat at the bar.

Friday and Saturday, the bar carries the room: Elite Karaoke starts at 8 PM on Friday, live music takes over at 8 PM on Saturday, and both run until last call at midnight. The grill closes at 10 PM and the fryer runs until 11 PM, so you can still get fried food late.
